Vote "NO" to SJR 34 Constitutional Amendment

  • Accountability Matters PMA Texas USA (map)

VOTE “𝐍𝐎” to amending the Texas Constitution in November!

The key words in the SJR 34 amendment are “𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮” and “𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜” - this language 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗦 the responsibility to the purported right. As the law stands now, we have an inalienable right to direct the care, control, and upbringing, of our children, a right that is secured by our liberty rights and due process rights already enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, the Texas Constitution, and upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in multiple cases spanning the history of our country.

In this time in history, when we don’t have election integrity, when the legislators refuse to restore our private property rights, when we don’t even know who is doing the voting on legislation on the House floor, why would we vote 𝗳𝗼𝗿 a Constitutional Amendment written by those same 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 to the Constitution that 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 affect the parent-child relationship in Texas courts?

We beg you, on our knees, for the sake of our children and grandchildren, and all the descendants to come in this once great state, GET OUT AND VOTE ‘NO’ to SJR 34 in November!

Amendment Language: “To enshrine truths that are deeply rooted in this nation’s history and traditions, the people of Texas hereby affirm that a parent has the 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 to nurture and protect the parent’s child and the 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 fundamental right to exercise care, custody, and control of the parent’s child, including the right to make decisions concerning the child’s upbringing.”
